They give out knighthoods so freely these days that they don't have much meaning. It is a shame.

Absolutely. You can buy a name, but knighthoods (sir/madam)are appointed by the Queen.

I would be proud to receive one!

Hubby and I are in tears over the recognition Terry is receiving! So well deserved!

I'm sure the recipient is still honored, no matter how many others are with them. It's like a graduating class, those you got your OBE with!
