In other news, the Swedish Chef always creeped me out as a kid.

I agree completely. I think that's the reason I never liked the Muppet Show as much as the muppets on Sesame Street. Too many muppets trying to look human.

Bert and Ernie, and The Count are exceptions, because human heads don't look like hamburgers and missiles, and The Count doesn't "count" because he's not human.

He's a vampire.
