It ought to say, 'Contains MILK and maybe NUTS you blithering idiot so why did you buy the product'.

Even if people didn't read the label they would have to be amazingly stupid to buy it!

come now, such warnings are common place. You would be hard to find a product that doesn't contain such a warning. Blame greedy a*****es, not stupid people for frivolous lawsuits.

My absolute favorite is the package of peanuts they give you on every Southwest flight that says on it:
"Dry Roasted Peanuts"
Warning: Processed in a factory that also processes peanuts

As stupid as it sounds, those warnings are actually required by the FDA and they will fine companies that don't have such warnings on their packaging. So it's not really a case of corporate overkill - it's more a case of your tax dollars at work.
