I've got a love bird doing that. He plucked all the feathers off of his back to the point of scabbing. Moreover, he got into the habit of throwing up constantly, especially when I wasn't paying enough attention to him. The vet told me in the birdy world, to vomit is the equivalent of giving flowers.

He's pretty much stopped vomiting and his feathers are growing back gradually, although he'll still have his tantrums.

Basically I was spending too much time with him, so he started getting the wrong idea.

Birds are sooo neurotic and all around an emotionally sensitive ball of feathery fluff:-P
