There used to be occasional porn classes when I was a media science student - I never took any, but only because they didn't fit into my schedule or curriculum. It wasn't much of a scandal or something: Of course there were giggles, but I think nobody ever got traumatized. Afaik, they were pretty normal classes - when learning how to apply scientific methods to media, it doesn't really matter whether it's porn or the local newspaper (except porn classes may be of particular interest for gender studies, but I'm not even sure about that).

From what I heard, those classes were surprisingly unsexy after all.
