Horsewoman ejected from Tesco's 'for being too smelly'
Horsewoman ejected from Tesco's 'for being too smelly'
Woman is disgusted and offended that a store would ask her to leave just because she had horse manure on her boots and generally stank so bad that people were complaining. She was so embarrassed by the "inconsiderate" treatment that she had to tell the whole world she doesn't know the benefits of soap and water. picked by 2manyusernames 10 months ago

Hmmm, there is a big difference between the honest stink of poop from a healthy horse, and stale B.O.!

I try to clean my boots off before I get in my car, and DEFINITELY before I go into a store where they sell foodstuffs! And mostly I try to not step in poop to begin with...

Good thinking.

Too right she was kicked out.

I'm "astounded" at how very rude she was to expect to be allowed entry to the story with faeces on her boots and clothing.

There are some things that civilised people just don't do and walking into a grocery with poop on you is one of them.

LOL! I stop at the store all the time after leaving the horse farm.

But, if it's really mucky at the farm, I change my shoes, and in the winter, I leave my coat in the car before heading into the store. Just common courtesy and decency.

So, we are all entitled now? We can just do whatever we want without the respect and courtesy of others? Wow.

And, I need help from my Brit Plimates: what is gobsmacked?

Smacked in the gob = punched on the mouth... flabbergasted or astounded.

They were right to ask her to leave if she was traipsing horse poop all over the store. That's just plain inconsiderate.

I wonder if she would take issue with me walking through her house with horse or dog poop on my shoes?

Though, if she was dropping manure all over the store, I see their point. Sometimes though, other customers just have too much time and self importance.

I feel for the security guard, trying to do his job.

So she was traipsing about leaving manure residue on or around food items that people would be putting in their mouths and didn't understand why that would be offensive?

You would think that she could wash her hair, put on a little make-up and a shirt that isn't an ugly sweatshirt for her pic. Or maybe she just wanted everyone to know just how skanky she is. Seriously I used to work in a grocery store in a small town in Oklahoma. We had lots of farmers coming in straight from the field and they almost always knocked their boots off before they entered the store. It's common courtesy as well as good hygiene. Maybe she's just stupid or trashy or both.
