Yes, 6 boys and 2 girls! Number 8 was kinda hiding in the ultrasounds, as could be expected when things are so crowded!

The doctors say all of them were kicking and screaming at birth, but one or two are having breathing support.

I hope they all make it, on one hand, but then, imagine having 8 new people to raise! Oy!

I'm guessing she's either supplementing with formula or is getting additional breast milk from a milk bank. Normally supplementing can cause the breasts to dry up (since the supply is based on demand), but with eight babies there's plenty of demand. Unless she's planning on doing nothing but eat, poop, and breastfeed, I would think the babies are also going to receive formula or banked milk.

And geez.. I would hate to have that many kids, especially if they were all infants at once. Seven puppies were hard enough for me; I can't imagine taking care of that many human babies.

And some people think this is ok, what are the chances of them having a "normal" life? I would assume they will probably have vision, lung or some other problems, and what about the hospital bill? No wonder insurance is so high. Makes me crazy...and we won't even get into how they are gonna pay for all this, oh yea, yet another TV show about people coping with all these children that THEY decided to artificially get.

It says the mother is comfortable now. No Sh!t, I think I would be comfortable for the first time in 35 weeks too if I just had 32 kicking and flailing arms and legs taken out of me.
