I really can't believe they don't think this qualifies. The man is 12 years older than her, a felon convicted of kidnapping, and she's 11! How can this not count?!

Right or wrong, I believe the Amber Alert system is reserved for kidnappings, not runaways.

Unfortunately, since they believe the guy's been spotted fleeing solo, I'm thinking the girl is either dead or close to it some where.

However, I would think that with that possibility in mind, it would be all the more reason for a full Amber alert.

What a f**king joke, I hate people that refuse to think for themselves and just follow the book blindly. This is clearly a case where an Amber Alert is needed.
