Street With A View
Knowing that the Google Street View team would be coming through their part of town, the residents of Pittsburgh Northside staged a series of bizarre tableaux to be immortalized forever on the World Wide Web. picked by tvirus 10 months ago

This is very cool, but doesn't having a bunch of people in the photo make it completely unrecognizable, thus making it useless? I think that google will take the pictures twice.

they can turn this in to an excuse for a carnival. Google guys coming? OK time to put your best foot forward. reminded me how people in Kerala dress up once a year on Onam (& org) cause that's the day an old king who was very good to the people is supposed to come down and check up on his people

When Maveli, our King, ruled the land,

All the people had equality.
And people were joyful and merry;
They were all free from harm.
There was neither anxiety nor sickness,
Death of the children was never even heard of,
There were no lies,
There was neither theft nor deceit,
And no one was false in speech either.
Measures and weights were right;
No one cheated or wronged his neighbor.
When Maveli, our King, ruled the land,
All the people formed one casteless race.
