Oh that poor bride. Wonder why Sis wasn't invited?

Years ago I went to the wedding of a very good friend with my date, a long-haired Italian Canadian named Jake. Jake danced once with my girlfriend at the reception, when shortly after the now-drunken groom staggered over and accused him of "looking at" his new wife.

Without another word the groom started throwing punches, my date dodged them all, and finally landed a few when he finally had to defend himself. I got knocked over as the fight moved out the door of the clubhouse, my stockings and dress now ruined.

Other guests finally separated the two of them, and the police were called. They locked everyone's keys inside their cars and we all had to walk home. I never saw or heard from my girlfriend again.

Seriously, what the hell is wrong with people. Punching someone because they looked at your wife?!?!

Equinox, you distracted me from the actual story!

So anyway, I'll bet everyone in the trailer was shocked when that happened.

That is exactly what every single one of the guests were saying, all 100 or so of us as we walked home from the Burnaby Golf Course. They all had seen Jake try his hardest not to hit the guy at all. I've always prayed that she annulled after that. Scary!

Sounds like bride made a pretty good decision in not inviting said sister.

I almost posted this story. But then I got distracted by something shiny.

I almost went to law school and then the same thing happened to me.
