Reading through the comments, they inadvertently show that the left harbors just as disgusting notions about who is to blame, its just that they blame different aspects of the same culture.

It is radical muslim fundamentalism that caused 9/11, not the left, not the right. Both sides need to get over themselves.

Sorry but one of the first things i thought after hearing about 9/11 was: well there is the wakeup call... there are people in the world dont like americans - maybe they might realise that now. (and dont give me "but 3k people died how can you say that" as a response, i know - but that isnt the point)

That is all the guy is saying: the outwardly portrayed culture of america is 1. not representative, and 2. not conducive to gaining acceptance by radical / strongly traditional muslims and their values.

Tell me where i or the guy on screen is wrong... because whilst labeling him as having "truly disgusting" arguments about it, he is actually right although it isnt the whole story as he seems to be portraying or at least the host was trying to get him to say in a rather agressive manner designed to both bring out the argument in a black and white statement (which no arguments are) and to partly ridicule him and put him in a bad light (note the "ooooh" from the audience after he agreed to the bit at the end).

You may find that he has "disgusting" views, but ask yourself if you labeling him as such is a subjective rather than objective analysis...

Hear, hear.. Quite well spoken. He definitely has a point.. I haven't read read his book, but I think he was quite rational and brought up some good points, I think he forgot that he was on a satyrical comedy show though. He seemed a little bit frustrated and confused.
