This was in my town and I have to say I am ebarrassed by the way he was treated by these people. They bombard him while he is stopped and then they attack him. I couldn't hear anything racist in the video. The girl hit him and spit on him first. I may be downvoted and I don't care, but she deserved it.

You can clearly see the woman shove him, he stares her down but then tries to get back into his car. After he turns away she shoves him again and he turns and hits her. Can't tell if he really connected or what.

For some reason, that offends me. Not you personally or anything, but in general, that attitude. Yes, guys are generally bigger and stronger and shouldn't hit women..

But the idea that I'm a delicate flower that all the menfolk should protect, and if I get violent, then they should just let me hit them until I wear my pretty little self out..... I dunno, it's condescending.

I don't know that those were minders, they look like stadium employees if anything to me. And they clearly weren't doing a very good job of diffusing the situation.

I'm certainly not advocating hitting women but to condemn self defense just because the attacker is a woman is foolish. Its this mentality that women are somehow incapable of posing a threat to a man that causes many men to be abused by their partners without ever reporting it. And for some who do report it to be harassed rather than helped.

I just feel that dudes shouldn't hit women. Call me old-fashioned, condescending whatever. It's a rule of mine and as for my personal experience guys who hit their GF's ect are complete pussies and don't say s**t to other guys let alone start fights with them.

My brother-in-law hit my wife in the face about 2yrs ago, I confronted him, he got all pussy and then ended up on his ass with a damn good ass-whooping. Had that been my sister-in-law, the ass-whooping wouldn't have happened.

I find it really interesting that all the women so far think it's fine for a guy to hit a woman and that to suggest otherwise is to be condescending and patronising. Eye-opening.

I sometimes dream of a happy world where all people are capable of controlling their emotions and tempers. It would be a happy land indeed.

I generally think it's unacceptable for men to hit women, and I think that's got a lot to do with the whole size factor. I think it's usually unacceptable for women to hit men, though I often support an occasional slap across the cheeks for a douche-bag who's trying to be fresh.

I think that a lot of girls, usually the ones that will hit a guy, take advantage of the fact that most guys won't hit a girl. I think that in a situation like this where the girl is egging the guy on and assaulting him, yes, he should be allowed to defend himself. It is not fair for a girl to put a guy in that position.

Obviously. But the point that I'm making is that's there's a difference between hitting a man and hitting a woman.

It says in the article he spit on her, but inthe video I didn't hear anything racist or see any spitting on his part, or hers. She does seem to be attacking him unfairly, though.
