Mine is also good for making me feel younger/older as I need to. Want to feel old...grow it out...feeling too old? Shave it off. Mine adds about 5 years methinks. Of course I have a baby-face so I need to 5 years to get respect sometimes.
When I was substitute teaching in high-schools I needed it just so the other teachers would believe that I was "one of them".

I've sported a goatee with a connected moustache (a circle beard) for 10 years or so now, but couple weeks ago I decided to start to grow a full beard. This will definitely motivate me to continue on my chosen path. I wanna go sledding on it by next winter.
