Sheesh... Found a similar, but waaaaaay better use of money:

On my local news they covered a story of a young girl who was dying of cancer. The parents and church set up a "wedding" ceremony in their church for her. Her "spouse" was a boy who was being treated in the hospital with her. (The vows were "to be my friend" instead of husband/wife)

She got to wear a pretty white dress, carry a bouquet, walk down the aisle to meet a nervous young man, and even got a cake!

Her parents were happy, in that horribly sad and poignant way. They said they were happy to do this, but didn't expect to be doing it so soon.

As far as dying wishes go, I thought everyone pulled it off great! The girl was ecstatic and adorable and happy, and I pray she lives longer so she can enjoy the memory and her friends and family.

Right, If I'm dying, I'm gonna spend my all money to have plastic surgery to make me look less like Sean Connery.

I think you look similar to him already.

They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

I'm going to say that in this case it's the creepiest.

What a waste of money - why not use it for the charity she founded
She is also aiming to raise £1million for brain tumour charities before she dies. She has set up a website www.rentadate forcharity.com, where people can bid for dates with celebrities backing her cause.

Sad. This honestly makes me feel sad. Her dying wish is to look like someone else? I don't mean to be insensitive or mean, but that seems so shallow. She's about to DIE and all she can think is that she wants to look like Demi Moore?

So?

If my dying wish is to punch a clown, someone damn well better get me a clown. Let her enjoy the last moments of her life however she wants.

if i was dying, and my parents had saved that much money(would that convert over to $60,000?) for a wedding(?!), i'd probably let them use it for my hospital and funeral expenses. and like suebe said, my charity. and if i hadn't founded one, i'd donate it to others. i wouldn't want my family and friends to feel like they're putting a stranger in the ground.

just sayin...

(i must also just say, though that demi moore ain't too shabby.)

I'm not going to call her shallow, but I find it incredibly sad this is what she wants, more than anything, before she dies.
They say you show who you truly are when faced with death and if this is the culmination of her life, it is truly sad.

It's sad too that she want to do it because she "wants to die beautiful" and she is beautiful already.
