The parents and church set up a "wedding" ceremony in their church for her. Her "spouse" was a boy who was being treated in the hospital with her. (The vows were "to be my friend" instead of husband/wife)
She got to wear a pretty white dress, carry a bouquet, walk down the aisle to meet a nervous young man, and even got a cake!
Her parents were happy, in that horribly sad and poignant way. They said they were happy to do this, but didn't expect to be doing it so soon.
As far as dying wishes go, I thought everyone pulled it off great! The girl was ecstatic and adorable and happy, and I pray she lives longer so she can enjoy the memory and her friends and family.]]>
