That's not soft porn, that's beachwear. These people need to come out of their monastery once in awhile.

I'm sure those same passengers would complain even louder if the airline dropped the advertising promotion and raised fares to compensate for the lost revenue.

What's funny to me is they are not "forced" to ride the plane at all. If you don't like it, ask for your money back and then go pay twice as much for another flight.

I suspect that Southwest is making a ton of money off the Sports Illustrated promotion. Maybe.. just maybe helping to keep ticket prices at bay.

I wonder how many would complain if the airliner was painted like a giant can of Pringles potato chips.

If people don't like it, they can choose to fly on another airline. It's that simple. I have little patience when people complain about things they can choose to avoid.

i think its ok. what about models selling cars? or celebrities selling stuff. oh article just opened - that's an ad for sports illustrated ... i guess the airline is getting paid for the ad

Edit : "as part of a promotional deal with Sports Illustrated. "

well marketing is about getting the word out and a lot of fliers are spenders. is as effective as a billboard on a not so busy street, i think. plus now they have free publicity

you're right, the complaints from these prudes have at least doubled the publicity.
