She was tortured by that beast, and now had to undergo a torturous procedure, and have tortured memories for the REST OF HER LIFE! I think the icon is appropriate.

She HAD to. She was 9, and having twins. No way she could carry them without serious damage to herself, including death, and no guarantee the fetii would even get halfway through gestation. According to the article here, she weighs just under 80 pounds.

I was amazed to see that the city and country were civilized enough to spare her physically, and I would hope her country's leading religious body would have mercy on this little victim, and not torture her even more with their desire for more church members.
