:-)Many companies pay their employees their regular pay when on jury duty.
Paying a high per day rate will probably get you "professional" jurors. Seniors, unemployed, etc who will volunteer for duty.
Larknet is right. It's a civic duty that we should perform as we would want a jury to act if we were on trial. :-)Although it might not be the highest paid civil service, it is still your duty to pay attention and make a logical and informed decision on guilt or innocence. There SHOULD be a punishment for this behavior, but in the article is says there isn't.
