Up until now Indy Car Racing has had a minimum weight rule on cars. However, since Danica Patrick came on the scene (100 pounds, 20 pounds less than the other two woman on the circuit) there has been a good bit of b***hing about what advantage she might get for being lighter than other drivers.

IRL is now going to require the driver's weight be included in the minimum weight for the vehicle.
