As of Feb 22, I'm 20. One step closer to 30!I try to be Plime's resident grammar police, but I focus mainly on apostrophes - which no one seems to be able to get right! Hate misplaced apostrophes? Join the revolt:http://u2019.blogspot.com Do you like my vampiric colours on this profile page? I've tried to blend ease-to-read with darkness, taking cues from HAL 9000 and, probably subconsciously, vampires.I AM ALSO THE PROUD DEVELOPER OF THE PLIME TOOLBAR (PLIMEBAR)>>>DOWNLOAD IT HERE!!! (link broken, I'm working on it)The Step lives his life by being very public about his biggest phobia: steps.Born in the only air-raised salmon farming village in the world, TheStep's suggestion that the fish might live longer if they were given some water was met with derision, a violent beating by the town's resident stair sculptor, and a gentle catapulting from some nearby cliffs. As luck would have it, a traveling battalion of marmosets had just parked their shared Harley and were napping below the cliffs, providing a soft, if messy, landing.Rejected by the people of his homeland, and now in possession of a large amount of marmoset skins, TheStep fashioned a stylish riding outfit and took off on the Harley to find his place in the wide world. He hasn't been seen since Monday. One Of The Greatest Speeches In Movie History Posted: 5 months ago by 2manyusernames
Charlie Chaplain's The Great Dictator bitterly satirized Nazism and Adolf Hitler before the full extent of the horrors of Nazism had been uncovered.

The final speech was pretty much out of character and was Chaplain's personal views and a political statement. It is a speech that still holds up today almost 70 years later.

Math Education: An inconvient Truth Posted: 5 months ago by lsojunkie
What text book companies are trying to teach kids is crazy! Having an atlas is not something that I would expect in a MATH book. Having chapters about calculator use instead of teaching how to do actual multiplication and division. I know that America does not have the best education system in the world but come on!

15 Misconceptions About Evolution Posted: 7 months ago by TheStep
It's not "just" a theory, fossil record gaps prove nothing and science classrooms should shun creationism. Overzealous creationists might want to pay particular attention, and those who accept evolution may learn something, too.

The world's largest Klein bottle Posted: 8 months ago by TheStep
The Klein bottle is a bit like a Möbius strip, only with no edges and one continuous surface. It can't actually be recreated truly in three-dimensional space (there's self-intersection), but this is still rather amazing.
