I am a 37 year-old mother of two, make that four, I have two much older stepkids who are awesome. I have written for several years as a blogger with my own site (both no longer functioning DawnOlsen.com and upyours.Blogspot.com) I have been writing for Blogcritics.org since it first began almost five years ago and I am the head writer for Glosslip, the newly launched BC.org network site. I like to write about celebrity gossip, pop culture, music and current events. Most people are surprised how nice I am once they meet me. I guess I need to work on that.

JK Rowling is going to be rich enough to buy the entire solar system when all is said and done with the Harry Potter series. The Deathly Hallows, the seventh and supposedly final book,in the outrageously popular series of books about a boy wizard, will have an initial print of 12 million copies.

If true, Gyllenhaal will be reprising the role of Captain Marvel for New Line, whose alter-ego is radio reporter Billy Batson. A young man, Billy would obtain his super powers from the wizard Shazam, which would transform him through a bolt of lightening into an adult with the powers of six legendary figures. How cool is that?!

I have no real issues with this year’s inductees. They each have merit, certainly some more than others. But I am convinced that those who vote are deeply biased against certain genres. They HATE new wave, punk, rap, prog rock and metal. Dorks.
