Interests; Science & MusicI earned an M.S. in behavioral/evolutionary biology. My thesis consisted of a functional study of prey strike behavior in Barred owls and Red-tailed hawks. My main interest is "form and function" relative to adaptation.As of now I teach biology at a local community college as well as teach music on the weekends (gotta supplement that state pay.). I was involved in research pretty much through the 90's, and started teaching in 2000.I have been playing music for around 36 years now. Guitar, bass, banjo, and mandolin are the main instruments of choice. I enjoy most styles of music; bluegrass, folk, blues, jazz. Giving lessons pretty much paid for grad school.
