MeggySue was adopted as a toddler by a wealthy family of fuzzy pandas. They took care of her and taught her the art of making christmas angels. This was very important because Pandas survive of Angel sales to purchase bamboo....Poor meggysue could not survive on bamboo alone so she applied to medical school where she graduated as an accounting software nurse. Her panda family was not pleased. She had shamed them all by forsaking her skill as master angel maker...She decided to keep her accounting software nurse job to buy other than bamboo foodstuff for her self and her human family and dedicate to the angel making in her spare time to support her panda family...The pandas forgave her as she provided bamboo for them to eat with the sales of the angels...Now she travels the world selling her angels to feed her Panda family during her spare time and when she doesn't travel, she spends her time baking frog legs for the accounting software nurse people.

Serendipity Posted: 1 week ago by meggysue
Ever seen the movie Nights in Rodanthe with Richard Gere and Diane Lane? This is what the house ("Serendipity") looks like after the recent storms that swept through the Outer Banks of North Carolina (and this isn't the first walloping it's taken). Photographer unfortunately unknown, but they have some mad skills... The beach cottage (yes, that's what they call it there) was spruced up for the movie, but stripped of its accoutrements as soon as shooting stopped.

This should be interesting!

No ordinary seafood, this! Posted: 4 weeks ago by meggysue
The mantis shrimp lives on the Great Barrier Reef, and isn't a mantis OR a shrimp but a marine crustacean (Stomatopoda). They can grow over 12" long. Nicknames include thumb-splitters and prawn-killers b/c of their claws. Larger mantis shrimp can shatter an aquarium glass with one strike of its powerful claw. What a scary, but beautiful, creature.
