It has long been assumed that Albert Einstein weighted science and religion equally, but a letter written by him in 1954 may well revise that.
Describing god as the expression and product of human weakness and the bible as a collection of primitive legends does not sit well with the previously held assumption that he weighted science and religious belief in equal regard.
