So I just left the theatre of Wanted and I have to say that this film was absolutely amazing. It recieved a 75% on RT, and while 75% is rather accurate to how bad ass the film was I would definately give it at least a B+.
The film starts out a bit rocky and you want to pull your hair out every time that crazy fat woman is around, but soon the story picks up and you soon realize that this is a movie about breaking out of the norm and finding out who you really are.
Its like The Fugitive + The Matrix + Miami Ink
There are a few films every year that you walk out of the theatre with a running fantasy in your head about how life would be if you were in the same situation. To me this is a sign that you really enjoyed the film and sunk into the story and connected with the characters, and I can assure you that you will see yourself in Wesley, if not but just a small amount.
I know I am just being nitpicky, but did they have to blow up rats? All those rats wanted some some food.. Who knows, that may have been their first meal in days, and then they are blown to bits.
If he had used cats, hamsters, or even monkeys I'll bet the audience wouldn't have thought it was 'cool'

I would have gone with cats. They can't really kill animals in a movie, gam. It's CGI.

It was alright, it seemed predictable to me like many movies are nowadays. Maybe its just I've seen way too many movies for my own good but it really wasn't that awesome to me.
The acting was eh, the action was good, the effects were meh, and all in all I was blah when I left the theater. So I give this movie a C- rating.
