Rail Union Protests Underground Film
Rail Union Protests Underground Film
Rail Union ASLEF is planning to protest the premiere of new film Three and Out, a comedy starring MacKenzie Crook as a train driver on the London Underground with an avaricious interest in suicidal commuters.

Actual Underground drivers are upset that the film may trivialise an all too common occurrence which, in the real world, is very traumatic. picked by pocksucket 4 months ago

Before anyone goes off half cocked about bowing to pressure from minority groups, or indeed that this is sick and should be banned, please read the quotes in the article from Keith Norman. It is not the intention of the Underground train drivers or ASLEF to get the film banned. Their intention is only to make people aware that while it may be treated comically in the film, for people to whom it happens, specifically Underground train drivers, it is far from funny and has a profound impact on their lives.

They are responding in a very reasonable way, I wish more groups acted like this when they wanted to "protest" or disagree with something.
