I had no idea that The Dark Knight was using the same SCRIPT... WHY?

hollywood: why not? it worked before. with fancy-assed effects of tomorrow, the script will work even better now! we don't have to change anything.

Until I watched it, I thought well aren't they all basically the same, so the trailers would be the same...but OMG! The first one isn't THAT old!? Sheesh. Why not pick a movie from 40 years ago. Or here's a thought...make a NEW one!

But... There's so much stuff already written for Batman... I.. I'm... speechless.

It's a fake. That's not the original Batman trailer.

As for it using the original's script ... also not true. Where'd you come up with that?

I loved Batman Begins, this one should be even better.

I read i-am-bored every morning and saw this a couple days ago. They mention in the comments there that it's not the trailer for the 1989 Batman movie, it's just scenes from the movie recut to match the Dark Night trailer.

Noooooo! Not the internet! Who can we trust if we can't trust the internet?!

God triple upvotes to the bean for saying it's fake. My nerd ass got all riled up and I was coming to b***h about how it's all just spliced s**t from the old movie :X

BTW, if anyone cares, the new movie is going to be based on The Long Halloween novel if you want to read it before... or not ;P

Also, it should be mentioned that these shots from the Dark Knight were made the same as an homage to the original. :)
