Not all of my posts will be to my own articles. I will be posting to other articles on InventorSpot.com. Trying to interact with others, get opinions on articles, place my own opinions on other links and find out what individuals think about InventorSpot.

Read the FAQ, and from the links here. It's called self linking, and it is not something the Plime community condones. Blogs can be shared elsewhere. Posting from a single source isn't going to be well accepted either.

So am I allowed to link other articles on InventorSpot? Its not a blog, its more of a job than anything else. I'm just interested in finding out what people think of the articles and communicating with them.

I'm 19 and I'm totally new to this type of website. Sorry if I made a mistake, I'm new at this and I'm learning.

InventorSpot isn't a blog either. It's a website that has tons of unique articles that are added on a daily basis.

Personally, I'm not fond of blogging and would rather not be seen as a blogger, thank you.

You can, but it's unlikely to get much attention after a while. Blogs just don't hold that much attention, unless they're uniquq, and inventor spot is not new. Plime is NOT the place to self promote or try to sell something (ie, yourself).

What kinds of things should I post? What you post is entirely at your discretion. However, links to offensive, pornographic and like material is frowned upon and will most likely be down-voted or deleted. Links to personal web pages or blogs are also frowned upon and will most likely be down-voted or deleted. Do not take it personally if your link to your website/blog was down-voted.. What you should post are interesting, funny, or otherwise entertaining links. This will not only help the community but will most likely be up-voted helping your overall standing.

*note: Do not post links that are filled with pop-ups, spyware, malware, viruses, or other such unwanted junk. If you find something really cool, but a hundred pop-ups come up, try finding it somewhere else on the web before posting it. If your link has a high content of pop-ups or the other above listed offenses, expect to be down-voted.

I said Plime wasn't the spot for this type of activity, that it's frowned upon, that it's not condoned. Those are words that discourage, not a statement like "You're breaking the rule, go away."

Upvote if you want, I will continue to use my downvote to prevent Plime from turning into Digg or Fark or the like.
