I took up photography as a hobby a few years ago when I got a digital camera for Xmas present. It's a little Canon IXUSi5.

I like to take macro shots of plants/flowers and nice sceneries.

Nice shots Autumn! I've got a Canon PowerShot S500 ELPH. I like it because it has a separate viewfinder - not just the display. I can frame pictures better with the viewfinder.

You know those things that you put in water and they get big? I put some of those in some glasses and then I held a flashlight above them. You can see how spotty our glasses are. I hate it. luckily there's two sets of new ones hiding in the closet for Mother's Day =D

The kitty one was also with a flashlight. I was running around my house with a flashlight XD

Here's one I took some time ago: A nice view of a rehabilitated open pit mine site in Ghana. They used to mine gold ore from this pit, now you can see that the slopes have been planted, and what you cannot see is that the water in this pit is a fish farm for the local community. (Fed by, among other things, chicken droppings from a nearby little chicken farm.)

Awesome shots, I like your waterfall series. If you haven't found/bought this yet, I would like to recommend the gorillapod I've not gotten out into the wilderness with mine yet, but I'm looking forward to it. It's so much more handy than a giant tripod, great for those impromptu long exposures.
