I've set up a SkypeCast channel (VoIP) for Plime which will be open for about the next 2 1/2 hours.

Trying to sign in but I had to download the client, then my password didn't work, reset that, now it tells me I need the most recent client. I had already installed that just a few minutes earlier. Now it says it cannot find the skypecast. Are we up?

Now it tells me I need a newer version, but I just downloaded and installed and checked. It says I have the most recent version. Grrrr.

I keep getting the version message. I have downloaded and installed twice with no joy. Either it cannot find it and when it does it says my version is old, but it is the newest one. I have tried both suckers and gratheo's skypecast with no luck whatsoever.

Ouch. Suckersklub and I had some difficulties, but nothing like that. I don't know what you should do, to be honest. Try adding me as a contact first. Username is gratheo1.

Can I get a brief description of what skypecast is?
Just so I know before I sign up, install and whatever else.

I have tried on two computers here and the skypecasting feature, for me, is broken. I have the most recent version and it tells me to upgrade. I wonder if there is another way to do a videocast for us technolgically advanced plimers.

The Skypecast is closed. It was buggy, and the feature is pretty much still in beta, so maybe later. Also, SK needs sleep, and I've got to go somewhere without internet access. I'll get over the Plime withdrawal, though, so don't worry about that.
