I know the concept, but I don't know the design.

I want a small tattoo on the underside of my left wrist. I want it to be a constant reminder to always love, be courteous, thoughtful, respectful, caring, sincere, understanding, etc. Basically a reminder to always be someone I can be proud of.

Since Plimates tend to have wonderful ideas and since "two heads are better than one", here's a thread.

How bout, just plain and simple, the words:

Don't be a douche.

But seriously, I'll try to get into illustrator/photoshop when I get home and think of something fun.

Don't put a tattoo on your wrist, people will judge, and when you hit your 50's it will look like s**t....instead, have it tattoo'd in "reverse" on the inside of your lip...you can then look read it whenever you look in the mirror to brush your toofs.

About Plime
Plime is an editable wiki community where users can add and edit weird and interesting links. Users earn karma when other users vote on their actions. The more karma you have, the more power you have at Plime.

I agree with ReBoot and hOOsker.
A Plime tattoo in reverse, on the inside of your lip, or under your tongue.
Something like this:

The Japanese Cherry blossom symbolises the transience of life and is a good reminder to make the most of life and to always be a good person. (not mine)

This is how to express the ideas of respect, honor, reverence, esteem, nobility, and sometimes the state of being noble, all in one word in Japanese. Most of the time this is used in the form of "giving respect", but depending on context, it can suggest that you should try to be "worthy of respect".

Maybe the two combined in some way (your tattoo artist should be able to do it better than I could) would maybe fit in with what you want.

I've got a half sleeve of traditional Japanese Cherry blossom and waves so if ya wanted a pic of cherry blossom I could send you a pic of mine. I say this because the guy who did them is a bit of an expert in traditional Japanese tattoo so it's a nice example.

Tattooed around a heart.

I would double check my translation skills though.

I think you could actually work with the idea of the karma star.

Each of the points could hold a small symbol representing one of the qualities you want to incorporate into your life.

Or maybe a nice text tattoo of the word "virtue" (in whatever language you choose...), since each of the things you described is a virtue you want to keep in your life.

Ya do know this is going on her wrist right?

K, just checking, cos to try and fit a star plus symbols at it's points onto a wrist will be virtually impossible. Any tattoo artist worth their weight wouldn't do a detailed tattoo that small because as the ink spreads over the years it will end up being an indistinguishable blob.

It will end up being an indistinguishable blob no matter how big it is, given enough time.
