Double-meaning pick up lines Posted: 2 years ago by
I heard these today and they need to be shared with other Plimates. Trust me, you'll laugh...

Pick up lines:
Hey, baby. The word of the day is 'legs'. Why don't you and I go back to my place and spread the word.
You look depressed. Why don't you put your head on my lap, and talk about the first big thing that comes up.
Let's talk some math. You plus me, subtract the clothes, divide the legs, and multiply.

Got any others like these? Other phrases with double meanings?...

Leave her ALONE!!!! Posted: 2 years ago by
I'm talking about Britney Spears.

I never liked her but I'm starting to feel sorry for the poor girl. She's obviously going through a really hard time and the fuggin press won't leave her alone! They're only making everything worse for her and it's sick. These media jerks have no souls. All they care about is gossiping and I HATE it.

Somebody, make them stop!

Plime Plummeting due to Digg Duplication? Posted: 2 years ago by
So, I've been a mild lurker for a tick, and correct me if I'm wrong but every time I sneak on over to have a gander at good 'ol Digg, Heavens to Murgatroid! All the same dang stories are there listed in the same order as our beloved Plime.

I was under the impression that Plime is here to collect all the cool things we uncover (ourselves) while dilligently mining the murky depths of the interweb. Not to brazenly copy the stories of other aggregators (seemingly just to boost Karma points.)

Question Posted: 2 years ago by
Is there a statute of limitations on link posts, or no? In other words, if a link has been previously posted on Plime, can it not be posted ever again, or can it be reposted after a certain amount of time (say a year)?

The reason I ask is because due to the fact that the amount of time that most links actually stay on the main page is so short, and because many of us are new users and weren't here a year ago to see the original post.

Thoughts?...

For your dream, the pursuit of happiness Posted: 2 years ago by
It is not the first time i have seen the works of Will Smith, but the first time it's not a sort of comedy. I watched "Independence Day", "Rush Hour" with Jacky Chan and so on..........
But no one else of his films can surpass the movie I'm deeply involved....................

The name of "the pursuit of happyness", in the show ,two black brave men, the old and the young, the father and the little son's act have grasped me.

Someone's gettin on my nerves. Posted: 2 years ago by
And they've been brought up in the forums before.

All they do is spam their blog and then argue and call people commies.

I'm going through routine womanly bitckyness and I'm going to my grandpa's funeral this afternoon. I do *not* want to put up with this a*****e any more. Will someone please make him shut up?!

I'm seriously losing it here.

(And no, I am not mature enough to just ignore him)

major debates. Posted: 2 years ago by
i havent really seen a real big debate on anything other than site issues. which kinda sucks because i like a good debate. not to the point where people just start hating each other, but you know.

we all agree with each other too much and disagreeing may be discouraged because nobody wants a down vote.

I think that the down vote problem has been solved with the neg vote wars thread where the community seemed to decide that down voting because u disagreed on somthing isnt cool anymore.

The LOST season three discussion thread! Posted: 2 years ago by
Let's gather our resources to discuss tonights premiere episode before, during and after! If you read spoiler sites please don't include them here. We will use this thread for basic questions, rants, theories and discussion.

My theory revolves completely around Desmond. We know that his long lost love was contacted at the end of season two by two guys in a bunker somewhere saying that they had "found it" right after the hatch blew it's load or whatever. So I think that Desmond was sent to...

Slight Rant Posted: 2 years ago by
Don't worry, Bornbad didn't start this thread, so it won't be too bad. (wink-wink)

Hypothetically speaking, if you make comments (or a series of comments) in a thread, shouldn't you upvote it? I know I upvote any thread that I participate in, unless it's one of those "Bornbad is freaking out" threads. (Again, wink-wink).

It just seems logical to me. Am I wrong in this? I have no problem with getting 0 upvotes for a forum thread that no one has commented on, but comments mean discus...

To Zune or not to Zune... Posted: 2 years ago by
...it's not much of a question.

There's been plenty of links here on Plime about this alleged iPod killer, generally in a negative vein against it. But the question is, will you be buying one?

If you are thinking of purchasing one, would you ever buy the brown one?

Here's some of the links we've had to help you make up your mind:
