"What's for dinner?" Posted: 2 years ago by
I've been divorced and living by myself for 9 years now(with the exception of when my sons &/or girlfriend stay for the weekend.) Eating dinner is becoming very boring. I would like your help with "Dinner for one." I can do leftovers if it's good reheated(like spagetti). Tonight I had a pork chop, marinated artichok hearts and pesto Top Ramen (not made as soup, less water and made as a noodle thing). I eat more hamburgers any man ever seen. HELP! Please......

DV Video Help. Now known as the, can anyone tell me if this here computer I wanna buy is any good, thread Posted: 6 days ago by
Ok, I normally use Pinnacle for capturing video off my DV camcorder and for editing but Pinnacle has messed up and I've lost the disc so I can't use that any more. I videoed a recent performance that my girls drama school put on and the principal wants me to burn off a load of disc to sell to parents ect, so I'm currently screwed. Does anyone know of a good, FREE DV capture/editing software that would do the job adequately until I purchase Pinnacle again or find the disc? Thanks in advance and this is gon...

Write Good Things Posted: 6 months ago by
You know what I'm talking about? The teacher writes the names of all the students on pieces of paper and then passes the papers around. Everyone writes something positive about the person and when it's all done, the teacher gives the papers to the students. I've had three teachers do this throughout my school career and I still have all three papers and I still read them every once in a while. I think it would be fun to do this on Plime. Here's how it's gonna work: Just like in the Anonymous Confessio...

I declare the week of July 20th "Tag or Be Duped Week!" Posted: 4 days ago by
As I pored over the Plime contract I signed when creating an account a few months ago, I stumbled upon a wonderful little line. Book 11, Section 13, Page 42, Paragraph 8, Line 7: Any user entering the Karma of 27 may theme a week for the betterment of fellow Plimates. With this small bit of info I have decided to deem this week... TAG OR BE DUPED WEEK! Its simple, go through your old posts, new posts, fellow Plimate's posts and check out their tags. Dupes have always been a problem here and there...

Letters from Nuts Posted: 4 weeks ago by
Have you ever read Letters from a Nut by Ted L Nancy (Jerry Seinfeld)? He made two or three of them as I recall. I own(ed) the first two at least, and read through them. They were amusing letters written to various companies asking stupid questions... It's actually kind of hard to explain if you haven't read it so I'll just post two examples: http://englishseven.com/businessletter/nutletter0002.jpg forumimage('http://englishseven.com/businessletter/nutletter0002.jpg','xhttpenglishsevencombusi...

The Dark Knight....in Review! May Contain Spoilers Posted: 7 days ago by
Ok I just returned from seeing the Dark Knight and can say that it was very good. Of course there will be much praise from the media over Ledger's portrayal of The Joker, and it will be almost entirely deserved. He is completely psycho, unbalanced, and horrible and he is completely menacing. Bale once again admirably dons the cape and mask, but make no mistake: Ledger makes this good movie a great one. I know with a movie like this there needs to be the willing suspension of disbelief, and it is possible...

Childhood beliefs Posted: 5 days ago by
I see Dollylama posted the actual site, but it has gotten buried so... http://www.iusedtobelieve.com/ I am curious what you used to believe as a child. To start: I believed my dad when he said that I should eat my bread crusts, so I could grow hair on my chest just like him. (I am a HER.) And from within myself, I thought I imagined the world and everything in it (making sense of the insensible) so among other strange behaviors, when I came across a word I didn't know in a book, I crossed it out, ...

New World (day 2) Posted: 5 days ago by
For Day 1 click here . At some point the three boat loads of brave vikings realized that they were nowhere near the new land, and had in fact found an island that was used as a waylay point for travelling ships. Leaving a shelter behind for future men on the island, they shoved off in the late hours of the afternoon and pointed their ships back out in the direction they had originally been heading. The journey was a little over two hours, and by the time land was spotted by pocksucket; the sun had begu...

Biography Ghostwriting Posted: 11 months ago by
Inspired by D3SPITE's profile , where he points out that the "biography" should actually be named "autobiography" I'd like to start a little game: Jax seems to be kinda busy these days, so we shouldn't bother him about changing the profile layout. Instead, we could write biographies for each other to post in our profiles, thus correcting the inaccuracy. Here's the rules: Write a short biography for the last user who commented in this thread (maximum 500 characters including blanks)....

Porn Movie Titles Posted: 7 months ago by
First of all I want to say that if you're easily offended please don't read any further and please don't forget that this is a joke thread so loosen up people.
