We have all seen them in the forums and even said "Hey that's the post of the day!" Well we should have a place where we can link back to them if we ever want to reference them again. So here it is. Groundrules: Anyone can nominate a POTD, just paste a link to it here along with the original text. We need both because some POTDs will require they be in context...much like today's! ONE POTD only per 24 hours period! The POTD MUST have actually been posted in the prior 24 hours....

Ok, I'm best man at a friends wedding (just asked me last week, wedding is this August.) So I need to plan a bachelor party. My time is short, so I'm thinking of having it at Dave and Busters. Pool, food, and fun. Like me he is a Christian so there will be no stripper. Neither of us has issues with people drinking. There will be pool, video games, food, and (optional) drinking. The figs on my tree are almost ready. In about 2 weeks, I will be making jam, way too much for just me. If you have never had a fresh fig, it is NOTHING like the dried ones most of us have tried. Fresh figs taste like a cross between a strawberry and a kiwi, with a little splash of plum. I would love to share the jam with you guys. Hi Plimates, I've got a financial-related issue. I have been given a bar (1 troy ounce) of standard-issue (Pamp) gold because I would have traveled to China and gotten some bullion there, if it wasn't for my pesky internship. However, I'm thinking of selling it off for cash, so that I can buy a Gold Eagle coin instead, which appreciates with age (i.e. when I'm 50) as well as with gold prices. Hey Plimates, on Saturday August 2nd I left the realm of singlehood forever, getting married to my favorite girl in the world. We had it out at Bull River Guest Ranch, which is this amazingly beautiful place in the mountains outside Cranbrook. Ok I just returned from seeing the Dark Knight and can say that it was very good. Of course there will be much praise from the media over Ledger's portrayal of The Joker, and it will be almost entirely deserved. He is completely psycho, unbalanced, and horrible and he is completely menacing. Bale once again admirably dons the cape and mask, but make no mistake: Ledger makes this good movie a great one.
