Does bass count? Richard Bona (a living Jaco Pastorius, which really becomes clear if you can hang in till about 9:00min). Bit off topic with the voice, but whooooooa it's excellent).

« Bornbad : Go to YouTube. There is a good selection under Rodrigo Y Gabriela. They play what I like to classify as "Flamenco Metal".
Went there, and heard a lot that I liked. But a lot of their stuff starts to sound a bit similar in the latter parts of the performances.

Still very good, though.

"Miserlou" by D!ck Dale 'King' of the surf guitar. Written in 1962, you may remember it from "Pulp Fiction".

And here's three of the best acoustic guitarists in the world who make up the California guitar trio, none of them are from California. A California Guitar Trio concert is unlike anything you've ever seen.

I can't find a video of it, but this is some crap someone put together with a song by them where each guitarist is playing every third note, it's insane to watch them play this live.

Joe Pass is awesome! Thanks for the post! Check out this guy tap out some Bach! If your wondering why he makes so many funny faces, it's because what he's doing is VERY hard.

Yeah, but he makes a face at the end of the riff when he ain't doing nothing...maybe he's just a "face maker".

Great post Shredder!

There's too much testosterone on this thread. How about Joan Jett - my headbanging, guitar playing niece's idol?
