I was trying to decide if I like the white or red ports from my collection better. I was smart enough to restrict myself to *hic* only the open bottles.... so far I still like the dark ports better. I mean, white ports have good character.... but I just don't like them as much. I'm just not letting myself sample my great-grandfather's homemade grappe today ( Not many 101-year-old men I know still make their own alcohol. I really respect the old fellow).

I'm actually a huge fan of South African wine myself. I prefer it over most wines.
