The best part about living down the valley is that the bar is up the valley so after a few pints gravity is all on my side for the bike ride home.

Damn it was hot today (and yes, that's a valid excuse).

After schlepping round town I went up to the allotment, decided it was too hot to pick up a spade and went to the pub.

Some days, cider is the best thing in the world ever.

I f**kin' love when I can legally post in here. Also I love the Russian Vodka Room on 52nd (I think 52nd). Also, f**k my life. I should drink more. But really, kill me.

I'm drunk.

For some reason, I feel like it is okay for men to drink cider over yonder. Here, I feel silly buying ciders. I feel pressure to order some sort of manly-looking stout.

Personally, I don't put cider in my parts.
So I guess I'm not sure.

Always. Otherwise it's just apple juice.

If you do your World Tour I'll make a point of giving you a boozer's tour or Britain.

Cider has a funny rep here - it's first and foremost thought of as a drink for gentlemen of the road.

In some circles it's known as Trampagne and sometimes those free spirits who have enjoyed a day of all day out door refreshment and are now shouting at cars are sometimes described as apple-daft.

Beyond that, it's usually sold on it's thirst quenching powers, but is often drunk by students because it's cheap and it gets you drunk quickly.

Do Brits or anyone else get as much gut-rot from the stuff as I do? Maybe its just the crappy ciders we have here. I guess I've never really had any problems with Strongbow or K Ciders.
