« [b]Rogue Dead Guy Ale.
I like Rogue brewery. Dead Guy is pretty good.

But my favorite from Rogue (and a beer that my friend's beer club is using as a template beer) is Rogue Chipotle Ale:

Excellent!

They come in 22oz bottles, so I can tell you from experience that you shouldn't try to drink a 6 pack by yourself in one night.

So Rogue is good? I've almost bought some several times but opted for other brews. I'll have to pick up some rogue varieties next time I go to the beer store.

I usually end up buying at least one Jolly Pumpkin. If you have any of these available to you, I recommend you pick one up:

Autumn Fire or La Roja.

Last nigh I had an 11.2oz bottle of Biere Du Boucanier Red Ale. I got it from a beer specialty shop. It ran $4.99 per bottle. Yeah... Not even a 12oz bottle.

But I bought because I was like "What the hell?"

Holy s**t was it worth it. Rich and creamy and oh so f**king delicious. I wish that I had bought more. Of course... Technically a 12pack of this would run about $70.00... Still though, wish I had more of it. I'll be picking it up again, that's for sure.

So there's a store that just opened right by where I live right now called "Beer Monster" and they have beers from all over the world. You're all invited to come over and go stock up.

This is good, Dave? I've walked past it a hundred times and considered purchasing it... Next time I go on a beer run (ie, next payday) I will have to pick some up on your endorsement.

This is one of my favorite Ales, brewed locally to me by a brewers called Skinners. It's got a great, strong taste to it and goes down well with a nice steak dinner.

I was at an outdoor music festival and I ended up backstage in a marquee that my mate who's in a rhythm and blues band was playing. There was loads of free beer out of casks and we were standing round drinking and a guy wandered in and asked if we wanted to try some of his beer that he brewed in France in his micro-brewery. Of course we said "Hell yeh" so he wandered off and came staggering back in with a 80l cask of ale. Long story short it was possibly one of the best ale's I've ever tasted. I've got a trip to france planned next month to pick some up as he doesn't export yet.

His websites Here Worth a look to see how tiny his brewery is ;)

There's a world of beers out there - a world.

This currently my favourite bottled beer:

It appeals so much to my Englishness - beer that's called tea? Perfect.

But probably a week or two from now that will have changed.

World of beer.

Oh I know there is, my brother brews beer and drinks arrogant ba$tard, and basically everything he can. He's quite the beer snob, so I have heard of the wonderful world of beer, but my experience has been limited too basically what is at party's.

I would love to try that tea beer, since I am an Anglophile, and that sounds strange.

It's not actually got tea in it - it stands for Traditional English Ale. Doesn't make it any less great though.

This is the brewery's site - although that's probably quite a tease.

I notice though that they have an ale named in honour of one of our number...

If I remember I'll report on that when it hits the shelves.

It is - it's pretty much a different drink.

The stuff in cans is closer to how it should be, but still not completely there.

A few years back they started marketing a device called The Surger which did apparently improve the experience, but you have to use special cans rather than normal ones and I've never seen them anywhere.
