After 3 weeks, 6 hours logged with Verizon, 2 scheduled FiOS appointments, and a new phone number....I'm back online...YAY no more Panera emails. Panera BTW blocks Plime or I would have posted before. On another note we are now a "enhanced broadcast TV family"...no not cable...but about literally 700x the channels we had yesterday. Now if I can just figured out how to vchip EVERYTHING.

I've been wondering where you've been. Welcome back to the tubes.

Anyone particularly good with snake identification?

I saw one in my yard, near my door, as I left for work. It was all-black, about the size of a roll of dimes around, and several feet long. It didn't have the pit-viper head, and obviously wasn't a rattler, so I'm not *really* worried.

I asked him not to come in my house, and as long as he obeys that, he and I are just dandy.

I just want to know what he was. Anyone? So far, I'm guessing rat snake. He's welcome to any rats or meese he can find.

Thursday and Saturday are Zach's days off so I'm not on Plime as much on those days. Today was also a good day to spoil the doggies so we went to the pet store and picked out new toys and then we went to Dairy Queen and got everyone ice cream (except McGruff because he's not into that stuff).

So, looks like I've got a Racer living in my bush. (Har-har).

Racers are harmless to people and generally attempt to make a speedy escape when approached. However, if they feel threatened and are unable to flee, they may vigorously shake their tail (making a rattling sound on dry leaves), defecate on their captor or even bite if handled.
