I stopped at the bookstore before lunch today and just naturally navigated toward the Sci-Fi/Fantasy section because that's usually what I read. As I perused the titles, I was suddenly overcome with a revulsion at the thought of having to read one more overwritten pulpy novel.
Soooo, I wandered around until I found the Science section (I didn't even know they HAD one of those!) and loaded up with some good stuff. My brief swing through the Philosophy aisle resulted in my final haul consisting of "A Brief-er History of Time" by Stephen Hawking, "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Chemistry", and "Superheroes and Philosophy: Truth, Justice, and the Socratic Way".

Yay for edumaction!
