So, last night I had a steak dinner and included in the meal was fresh asparagus. I've had asparagus before many times but noticed no side-effects UNTIL this morning when I went to the bathroom.
This bathroom incident led me to Google and the subsequent discovery of a phenomenon known as "Asparagus Pee" (make sure you check out the comments at the end of the article) :D
Anyone else come across this or any other side-effects of certain foods or any other bizarre phenomenons?
Thoughts?

Ah, the lovely aroma of asparagus pee.
It's probably the best of the bunch but other things to try* are:
- Coffee
- Sugar Puffs
- Pot Noodle
- Chicken soup
*Or avoid, depending.

I decided to look up some other things that have the same effect. I know that radish does. Beer tends to make it colourless and abundant.
But this was what Google turned up.
The first respondent caught my eye.

Yeah - what the hell happened to it?
We used to have it.
It scared me, sure, but that doesn't mean I wanted it to go away.

I happen to know that if you eat a substantial amount of the same colour of wax crayons they turn your pee the corresponding colour.
