Yup. It sucks because it's a super wide angle lens, doesn't have a zoom, the focus is fixed at about 2 1/2 feet (cf. the Myspace Angle), minimum gain (automatic, of course) seems to be something like 1 million dB (hence the noise), and smoothing / JPEG compression would give even Keith Richards baby skin. They're scaled down from 2 megapixels in order to prevent you from getting eye cancer.

At least it was a little scorpion. My college roommate had a pet scorpion named Dillinger. It was black and fuzzy, and about the full length of that dollar bill. The thing was huge.
The big black ones are Emperor Scorpions and are common as pets. What you found looks like it could be a bark scorpion, which is common here in AZ. They will sting if threatened, but the sting is not a big deal, just a few hours of wonkyness.
