I'm unpacking my bags right now, and the thought of finding a scorpion somewhere in there is scaring the crap out of me. We found a few in various beds over there, so there's a chance I brought one with me.

In that case, this thread becomes a real suicide note, and you may finally bury me.
Or at least hand me a bag of ice and drive me to the hospital.

I'm not used to finding scorpions. I caught one in a jar and kept it for a few days, along with a nasty spider. The scorpion was evil, although it didn't do much most of the time. Half of our luggage and equipment at the cable car - on arrival here one week ago (which seems like a month already), we learned that one of our cars had broken down in the Gotthard Tunnel earlier, so we had to return there and pick up the people and their stuff.

We finally reached Formine, an abandoned village that was rediscovered and purchased by a group of artists and is being restored since the 1980s.
We were accomodated in a hotel building from the 1920s - the hotel had never opened because the road to Formine was never built.

We'll stay in a spooky place in the woods with no phone or internet, so I guess I'll suffer some badass withdrawal.

Please don't bury me yet, but remember me each time you hit "send" in your email clients, or synchronize your iPods (think something like "poor sucker, he doesn't even have a telephone up there.")

You can wear pants while I'm gone, but please take them off for Monday 12th, and please have a cool beer ready, because I will be craving one after 10 days of red wine.
