I do miss the smell of my horses, breathing into their noses, and them smelling my hair and doing that grooming thing with their noses on me....(Their noses are funny, aren't they?) I loved to scratch their itchy spots and watch their nose get wrinkly and moving side to side.

Animals in general are very theraputic for me, anyways.
Exactly! Boomer loves to smell my hair, and take his nose and root around looking for treats in my pockets. When I have a bad day, I bury my nose in his mane and neck and just take in a deep breath. Or at night, it's dark out, you are the only person in the barn, and all you hear are all the horses in their stalls, contently munching on their hay, every once in awhile letting out a big sigh, not a care in the world, just pure Peace. And my dogs, they make everything seem alright with the world. Their happy greetings when you get home from work, their big sighs when they settle into bed, and the big wet sloppy kisses.

I have seen that. Truly a horse and rider working as one.

Same as TM & horsefeathers, although for me it's grooming, not riding. Riding is more fun, while grooming is really the relaxing, calming, "good for your soul" horse activity.

Dogs, too. I dunno, with my pit bull, he's just so blindly trusting. Levi is definitely a steadying force in our house.

And I've yet to find anything that is as soul-repairing as a random hug from my daughter. She's so hyper, that it doesn't happen every day, but when she just stops what she's doing to wander over and hug me, it seriously makes your heart melt.

I love to be outside in nice weather. I love the sun and I love the moon.

I love playing with my nieces and nephews and watching them grow and learn.

I love driving aimlessly on summer nights, but can't really do that anymore thanks to gas prices. Luckily I have a bike.

I love snuggling with my doggies.

I love snuggling with Zach.

I love helping Zach at work and convincing the cats who haven't eaten in three days to nibble on their food (they just need encouragement).
