A spot for anyone who has ever thought....

"Damn, this looks like something straight out of Gourmet Magazine, I gotta take a pic of this!" This is the place for you.

Share your favorite recipes and shots of the finished product for Plimers to try and/or repeatedly criticize for years to come.

Enjoy!

This is a good idea.

From Junior year of college.

I intended to do a 365 day picture journal of my eating habits. It never took off.

I thought this might be helpful for "food" not to share

Great thread idea. Here is a pic of a most excellent meal I made a couple of weeks ago. I shared it with the Platroom and got some high ratings.

It was delish. I love my grill. Click on it for a larger view. You can actually smell it.

So is that a ribeye? A-1 or gravy on the potato?

Nice pic!

Ribeye

A-1 on the potato. The only good use for steak sauce is on the baked potato

Nice M&M coffee mug full of hot cocoa, Dave. *supresses laughter* The chicken thing looks really good, though.

Moe, what is that, a red ale? What kind of beer did you wash that steak down with?

The beer, DEP as you fully well recall was Berry Wheat. And the bread was freshly made jalapeo bread.

Its Chicken Kiev. My entree was a joke. It was made in the microwave.

I recognized it, apart from the haggis. Could never bring myself to eat it after I found out what it was.

As a kid my sister and I were told Haggis were little three legged creatures that ran round and round the base of mountains.
Yeah we believed anything. My granddad used to have a tree that grew Peppermint creams.

No recipe or anything, it was just a box mix chocolate cake with buttercream frosting. It just looked so darned pretty! It was Mr. Marli's birthday cake.

That looks really, really good! Chocolate cake is my favorite, without a doubt. Does anyone have a good German chocolate cake or Tiramisu recipe? That they are willing to share that is....

Designed for the minimum of chewing and no need for a knife. Just fork it in and wash down with whisky.

Sorry keeper, I wasn't going to share that recipe with anyone but Maven's got me wrapped around her finger. If you're ever in the area I'll gladly make some for you though. :)
