I risked life and limb, but most importantly camera for this shot. I was holding my 20d in one hand dangling out the window of a car doing 80. I had the strap wrapped around my arm about 17 times, but it was a bit scary holding my baby outside of a moving vehicle. In the end it was worth it though.

Pumpkins. I liked the depth of field in this one. Unfortunately jpeg compression squashed out some of the color.

They ARE hard to photograph....they bury themselves in the flowers...I pet their little butts to get em out for a picture.

Keep it up. You'll like more of them as you go along. Always enjoy it though. I have over 13,000 photos in my image library. I only like a very small percentage of them, but I love shooting.

I don't have a lot of art pictures...mine are mostly my kids... This one I took when we were traveling across country. We took several detours. One detour was to see my friend in Ohio. This is at a place called the Bear's Mill, where they grind wheat, flour, and corn, and make bread.

Why is the wagon on bricks? Thats the kind of thing one usually sees in Liverpool in England where I live except its cars and they dont have wheels just bricks.

That being said I love these old fashioned places. It's nice to think that in todays world of computers and technology places like that still exist.

A pic my mum took, of me and The Thing, one of the horses. I really like this pic. I've put off posting it, cos you can see my face, but I figure you can't see too much and it doesn't really look like me.
I think it's the unposed way the pic was taken, the two of us just happen to look out at my mum together, like as if I was caught giving him an apple or something. We both look guilty.

You do realize of course that Plime was started by a guy who runs a Photoshopper site, right?
