Orb weavers are SOOOO COOOOL!!! If you ever get a chance to go to the Smithsonian National Zoological Park (aka the Washington Zoo) they have Madagascar Orb weavers....Like something directly out of an Indiana Jones movie....HUGE orb weavers with THICK webs...

I attended without a proper macro lens...(I'm not much into macros or most bugs) This was the best I could do with an 85 prime.

Not at all. Virtually any photo you see published anywhere is "tweaked" in one way or the other (including... all of mine in this thread). It used to be manual dodging, retouching and stuff with analogue pics - today it's Photoshop.
