I freaking love Guitar Hero. I really need to go back again and try to beat the last couple of songs I haven't beaten on Hard.

Guitar Hero II is even better as a game because of the additions of practice mode, a second guitar part in multiplayer, and the improvement to how hard it is to hammer-on and hammer-off. I don't think the songlist is quite as strong, but it's still pretty great.

Just a side note: the new owners of the series have trademarked the names Guitar Villain, Drum Villain, and something else I can't remember Villain.
