Reality gets "Stranger" with arranged-wedding show
Fox is developing "I Married a Stranger," a matrimonial reality series in which brides-to-be don't meet their husbands until they exchange vows.

The premise of the show is that a woman frustrated by the dating scene agrees to wed a man she's never met. While she prepares for her blind wedding, friends and family select a spouse from a pool of six eligible suitors offered by the show's producers picked by bingo 2 years ago

Thank God our country won't let those gays marry. It would destroy the sanctity! The Sanctity, I say!!

What kind of psycho (of either gender) agrees to this?

I'm baffled. I wouldn't want to have my friends and family select a new car for me, why would I let them pick a life partner?!?

Some people, apparently, will do anything for their 15 minutes.

They broke through the bottom of the barrel long ago. Now they're just digging through the dirt underneath the barrel.

My bet is this dog won't hunt, before the election (like in 06) there was supposed to be a reality show where viewers picked a candidate the the winner had Fox financial backing. Fox likes to tease things in preproduction for hype then never deliver.

They've been doing this for thousands of years. Arranged marraiges. Now they're televising it.

I'd like to see what happens down the road with these couples. That woudl be entertining.
