omfg! Whenever we (me and my friends) threw a house party it was ALWAYS with the parents knowledge. We used to hold an annual New Years eve party (with booze, we were over 18 mostly, and that was the legal drinking age at that time)

The parents would call about 1/2 - an hour before they would return and the house was always pristine and everyone was dressed properly.

The only incident we ever had was one guy jumped out of a 2nd floor window, uninjured (the booze I'm sure) and wandered off. He turned up ok.

Never had the cops and we were pretty loud.
